Nuala Sawyer received her Bachelor of Arts from Hampshire College in 2007. Her work explores intimacy and the quiet moment, largely through still film photography. She has exhibited her work throughout the USA, and in Greece. An aspiring teacher, she has taught darkroom photography at Great Books Summer Camp and the New York State Summer School of the Arts. Her latest work, "The Walls", emerged from three months spent in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she was living while working as set photographer for the TV show "Rien que la Verite". She currently lives and works in San Francisco, California.
